Chamonix Destination : Le parc du Merlet
Come and watch the mountain animals roam freely in this animal park in a magical setting, right opposite Mont-Blanc.
Perched at an altitude of 1500m above the Chamonix valley, the Merlet mountain pasture is astonishing firstly for its breathtaking panorama of the Mont-Blanc massif and secondly for its vast animal park. Take a walk through the forest and sunny meadows, dotted with traditional mountain chalets.
The unusual closeness of these numerous animals is surprising and almost makes you forget how wild they are. You’ll find ibex, sika deer, llamas, mouflons, marmots, chamois and fallow deer.
There are also picnic tables and a bar-restaurant. Shuttles run from 8 July to 30 August, departing from Chamonix SNCF station.
Combloux Destination: Plan d’eau Biotique

Talloires-Montmin Destination : Roc de Chère
Discover the Roc de Chère, a small forested mountain range jutting out over Lake Annecy, between Menthon-Saint-Bernard and Talloires. The Roc de Chère is a great place to go for walks and look out over the lake and surrounding mountains.
Along the way, you’ll see a wide variety of flora and fauna. If you’re discreet and attentive enough, you might even spot small forest mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles and insects.
Situated at an altitude of over 500 m, the Roc de Chère is a nature reserve, with certain rules to be respected by all walkers discovering this unique site.
La Clusaz Destination : Espace de Loisirs des Confins
With its exceptional natural setting at the foot of the Aravis mountain range, the Espace Loisirs des Confins is the perfect place to enjoy a range of outdoor activities for all the family, including zip-lining, tree climbing, trampolines and pony trekking. The Espace de Loisirs des Confins is open from May to October. Picnic tables are available, so you can enjoy a bite to eat.
